Cabin details
This fully remodeled modern cabin is perfect for a friends or family getaway. With 450 sq feet and a lofted upstairs, you’ll enjoy views of Lake Superior and a private patio area with solo stove fire pit. A brand new kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials so you can prepare meals for dining in and picnics for heading out. The living room offers a cozy spot to relax next to the fireplace while you plan your Keweenaw adventures.
The layout features a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and small living space on the first floor with a lofted second floor bedroom area. The loft is accessed by ladder and is not suitable for young children.
The new bathroom includes a new 48 inch rain shower, toilet, and sink. Sorry, no dogs are allowed in this cabin, but check out dog-friendly Cabin 5 if you want to bring Fido.

Covid Precautions: We are following CDC-approved cleaning guidelines. We ask that if you are not feeling well or are having any symptoms to please reschedule your stay & help protect our small community.
Before you stay with us, please note: Many of our cabins are rustic and small — part of being built over 75 years ago. Know that while we try hard to keep these spaces in great shape, some are a bit tired in spite of our homey touches. The grounds are grand and picturesque but also rocky and uneven. If you have mobility challenges, we recommend considering other accommodations.
Mosquitos, black flies, spiders, birds, snakes, mice, squirrels, eagles, deer, bears…. You’re in the woods – there’s a good chance you’ll see one or more from the list. We do not refund – or charge extra 🙃 for sightings.

A perfect, dreamy stay
I loved staying in Cabin 8. The cabin was very well-designed, beautifully decorated, cozy and super quiet. And Lake Superior is right outside — the campground is stunningly beautiful. It was such a perfect, dreamy stay, and I can’t wait to come back. I didn’t mind not having cell service or wifi. You only need to drive 5 or so minutes into Copper Harbor to get access at the local community center. And Copper Harbor is an adorable town.

Get off the grid and recharge
Lynn is a great host! Very communicative and accommodating. The cabins are in such a special place, the perfect spot to get off the grid and recharge. Make sure to have all of your ducks in a row, as there is no service and no WiFi, but that’s what makes it special – no distractions 🙂

Sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking
What a delight to arrive at Cabin #8 on the shore of Lake Superior. The welcoming basket was such a nice touch to this amazing , newly renovated, comfortable place that screams “ relax and unwind”. From the well stocked kitchen , comfortable bed, private patio with ready to use fire pit , we were quite amazed. Sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. You must visit Fresh Coast Cabins and experience this place and all the area has to offer.
