Cabin details
The perfect Lake Superior cabin for solo travelers or a couple. This cozy, single-story cabin uses each of the 250 sq ft to its fullest potential with a queen-sized bed, kitchenette, and bathroom in a studio floor plan. The screened-in porch doubles the living space and is perfect for enjoying Lake Superior without the bugs.
The kitchen area is basic but includes all the essentials. You’ll have a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and basic dishes. Salt and pepper, olive oil and organic tea are provided. This cabin is perfect for bringing back takeout and transferring it to plates for that “look what I spent all day whipping up” type of meal.
The half-bathroom includes a stall shower, toilet, and sink. Like many small cabins built during this era, there isn’t much room in the bathroom and the fixtures are a bit dated—a funny quirk we look forward to updating as we renovate! Book this rustic cabin that is steps from Lake Superior and explore the Keweenaw Peninsula.

Covid Precautions: We are following CDC-approved cleaning guidelines. We ask that if you are not feeling well or are having any symptoms to please reschedule your stay & help protect our small community.
Before you stay with us, please note: Many of our cabins are rustic and small — part of being built over 75 years ago. Know that while we try hard to keep these spaces in great shape, some are a bit tired in spite of our homey touches. The grounds are grand and picturesque but also rocky and uneven. If you have mobility challenges, we recommend considering other accommodations.
Mosquitos, black flies, spiders, birds, snakes, mice, squirrels, eagles, deer, bears…. You’re in the woods – there’s a good chance you’ll see one or more from the list. We do not refund – or charge extra 🙃 for sightings.
