Cabin details
A mid-century modern cabin with gorgeous views of Lake Superior just 3 miles from Copper Harbor. With just enough updates to feel luxurious, this 650 sq ft cabin features a king-sized bed, remodeled bathroom, full kitchen with a farmhouse sink, and a propane fireplace to take the chill out of the air. Ideal for a couple who wants to get cozy, this single-story cabin will have you relaxing in style and not wanting to leave.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an apartment size gas range/oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans plus olive oil, salt/pepper, fair-trade coffee, and organic tea.
The half-bathroom includes a remodeled corrugated metal shower, toilet, and sink. Sorry, no dogs are allowed in this cabin, but check out dog-friendly Cabin 5 if you want to bring Fido.

Before you stay with us, please note: Many of our cabins are rustic and small — part of being built over 75 years ago. Know that while we try hard to keep these spaces in great shape, some are a bit tired in spite of our homey touches. The grounds are grand and picturesque but also rocky and uneven. If you have mobility challenges, we recommend considering other accommodations.
Mosquitos, black flies, spiders, birds, snakes, mice, squirrels, eagles, deer, bears…. You’re in the woods – there’s a good chance you’ll see one or more from the list. We do not refund – or charge extra 🙃 for sightings.

What a pleasant surprise. The pictures and website don’t do this place justice. We only wish we could have been here on a Friday for the group campfire. This was our first trip to Copper Harbor but won’t be our last! We stayed in Cabin 3, which was perfect for us two and had a great view of Lake Superior.
