Cabin details
This rustic and homey 650 sq ft cabin boasts peekaboo views of Lake Superior, an updated bathroom, and a full kitchen. It’s the perfect spot for a getaway with family or close friends who want to spend long days by the lake or pack a picnic to enjoy on your Keweenaw adventures. There is no shortage of space in its single-story layout featuring a beautiful window wall living area and two separate bedrooms for maximum privacy.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an apartment-size gas range/oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans plus olive oil, salt/pepper and organic tea.
The half-bathroom includes a corrugated metal shower, toilet, and vanity. This cabin has not been fully remodeled so please pardon the dated flooring as we work on updates throughout the property. Sorry, no dogs are allowed in this cabin, but check out dog-friendly Cabin 5 if you want to bring Fido.

Covid Precautions: We are following CDC-approved cleaning guidelines. We ask that if you are not feeling well or are having any symptoms to please reschedule your stay & help protect our small community.
Before you stay with us, please note: Many of our cabins are rustic and small — part of being built over 75 years ago. Know that while we try hard to keep these spaces in great shape, some are a bit tired in spite of our homey touches. The grounds are grand and picturesque but also rocky and uneven. If you have mobility challenges, we recommend considering other accommodations.
Mosquitos, black flies, spiders, birds, snakes, mice, squirrels, eagles, deer, bears…. You’re in the woods – there’s a good chance you’ll see one or more from the list. We do not refund – or charge extra 🙃 for sightings.

We loved our stay at Fresh Coast
The living room with comfy chairs and warm cocoa was our gathering and hanging out place. We watched the sunset over the lake while playing corn hole. The cabins were convenient to everything in the area and just 6 or 7 minutes from Copper Harbor. We loved not having Wi-Fi or phone coverage. The comfy little touches were very appreciated. We would love to come back.
